After almost 60 years of broadening our sensor technology applications, YSI focused its primary business development on water quality and environmental monitoring applications. The first decade of the twenty-first century brought several major natural disasters and a continually increasing scarcity of natural resources. With this as a backdrop the company is geared to provide products and data services that help to address these situations.
And in keeping with the socially conscious philosophy of our founders, YSI looks to continue to provide these resources to customers while remaining an independent, responsible company amid industry consolidation and the push for profit at all costs.
