The main material of the chemical resistant low flow meters is polypropylene, the standard lens is acrylic. These are both good general chemically-resistant materials, but they can’t handle many of the stronger chemicals. The Inline Low Flow Meters’ rotor is PVDF, the shaft is a nickel-bonded tungsten carbide, similar to a stainless steel in resistance.
• Accurate at lower flow rates
• Resistant to many low-corrosive chemical solutions
• Pulse output is compatible with most PLCs & controllers
• Transparent housing for sight flow inspection
• Replaceable non-wetted solid-state pickup
Application Note: Straight pipe run of at least 5 diameters (10 diameters is preferred) upstream of the inline low flow meter is recommended. Vertical and horizontal installations are all acceptable for the inline low flow meter.
