The EnviroPro probe is a new vertical capacitance probe that measures soil moisture, soil temperature and soil EC. Probes are available in lengths of 40cm, 80cm, 120cm and 160cm. Sensors are positioned at 10cm intervals for full resolution measurements. The probe is a completely sealed unit, with sensors embeded in a resin. This allows the probes to be installed below the ground level, without any components above ground. They are also maintenance free.
The unique design of the EnviroPro, with the split electrodes, increases the “super sensitive” area of measurement, thus increasing the sphere of influence and measurement zone of the sensors.
The EnviroPro probe can be configured to output all, or any combination of outputs from any of the sensors.
EnviroPro probes have a user friendly digital interface designed to support third party systems (loggers, irrigation controllers). We are committed to providing flexible solutions for all OEM partners.
Probes can be programmed for world standard SDI-12 communication or digital interface mode for high speed interfacing directly to micro processors.
The EnviroPro probe has been designed to facilitate firmware improvements as new applications and operational features are developed.

* EC upgradable – ALL probe models utilise salinity compensation techniques for greater accuracy, but only pro models can output salinity metrics. Standard models can be upgraded to enable salinity metrics pre or post purchase and pre or post installation with an upgrade key.

Compensated measurements
All EnviroPro® sensor models compensate salinity and moisture measurements for variations in temperature, as well as compensating moisture measurements for salinity variations. Without this compensation, the presence of salinity in the soil can cause critical over reporting of moisture content by capacitance probes.

Each probe is individually calibrated in the factory, so they never need to be re-calibrated in the field.

EnviroPro® installation kits used with recommended bentonite slurry make both install and removal of probes quick and easy.
