AMS Mud Auger

Laser-cut, open cylinder design for easy removal of heavy, wet, or clay soils.

The AMS mud auger features two openings in the cylinder wall to facilitate emptying as well as wider spaced bits than the AMS regular auger to ease entry of sticky soils. AMS mud augers are available with Signature Series, threaded and Quick Connect connections.

Mud augers are manufactured with a carbon steel bail and a stainless steel cylinder, with the exception of the 5″, 6″ and 7″ models, which are made with carbon steel cylinders. Most augers are also available in all stainless steel.

AMS mud augers are available with a 5/8″ threaded connection, with the exception of the 6″ and 7″ models, which are available with a 3/4″ threaded connection. All sizes are available with the Quick Connect connection.
