The unique design may be installed to lie flush on the upper surface of a slab as to not interfere with daily use of area. The probe is sealed with a threaded stainless steel cap that is constructed with double viton o-ring seals. The cap mates with a unique removal tool to provide for secure access.
Installed with a threaded expansion fitting, the installation is made airtight by placing a bead of epoxy sealant around the floor penetration beneath the top of the probe.
