The “USB/SDI-12 Interface” provides the possibility in conjunction with the PC software “OTT SDI-12 Interface” to change the factory configurations of SDI-12 sensors in a simple manner using the SDI-12 or RS-485 interface (SDI-12 protocol). For this, the sensor is temporarily connected to the PC via the interface. The “OTT SDI-12 Interface” PC software automatically recognises the attached sensor and conveniently provides the appropriate SDI-12 commands for this sensor as command keys. In this respect the software is subdivided into SDI-12 standard commands, extended commands and service commands. A firmware update for the sensors is also possible.

The “USB/SDI-12 Interface” supports the OTT sensors and sensors with a standard SDI-12 interface from third-party manufacturers. The “OTT SDI-12 Interface” software also provides the SDI-12 standard commands using command keys for this purpose. Extended SDI-12 commands can be entered via a terminal window in this case.
