The Beacon 110 is a fixed mount, single channel continuous-monitoring gas monitoring controller. All user adjustable parameters may be accessed using push button switches. Both direct connect (internal amplifier type) detector heads and 4 – 20 mA transmitter (remote amplifier type) detector heads may be used with the Beacon 110.

The Beacon 110 displays the current gas reading on an LCD display which is visible through a window in the door. It includes audible and visual alarms that warn you of hazardous gas conditions. The alarm circuit includes two levels of gas alarms. The fail circuit alerts you to failures in the gas detector heads or Beacon 110. The Beacon 110 provides a 4 – 20 mA signal proportional to the target gas reading for use by a recording device. Three sets of relay contacts, two controlled by the gas alarms and one by the fail alarms are available for controlling devices such as lights or horns or for controlling higher rated relays.
Three operating modes allow you to display and change set-up and calibration settings and change the detector head input type: Calibration Mode, Configuration Mode, and Input Mode.
The 10 amp rated relays are strong enough to directly power external alarms and horns. The digital display has backlighting and simultaneous readout of the gas type and concentration.
The Beacon 110 is also housed in a NEMA 4X rated case for a weather tight seal. This case design complies with lock out / tag out standards and can be fully secured. An external reset switch allows the alarm to be silenced from outside of the controller housing. The Beacon 110 ships complete with a wall mounting kit for easy installation.

Note; The Beacon 110 can accept direct connect sensors for LEL combustibles (catalytic or IR sensor), Oxygen, Hydrogen Sulfide , Carbon Monoxide , and Carbon Dioxide as well as other gases (see Direct Connect Sensor section for a complete listing on page 89. The Beacon 110 can also accept any 4-20 mA transmitter.
