High levels of UV light can be detrimental to plants. Use this meter to determine the UV filtering capacity of greenhouse shades and glass barriers. Includes one 9-volt battery. Now also available with external sensor on 2-meter cable.
This portable, hand-held meter measures the UV photon flux in the wavelength range of 250 and 400 nanometers in units of µmol m-2 s-1 (micromoles of photons per square meter per second).
