The Extech SDL500 Hygro-Thermometer/Datalogger is capable of measuring relative humidity from 5% to 95% and air temperature from 0ËšC to 50ËšC. This allows it to calculate dew point from -25.3ËšC to 48.9ËšC and wet bulb temperature from -21.6ËšC to 50ËšC. Additionally it can also measure temperature from -100ËšC to 1300ËšC via a type K thermocouple or -100ËšC to 1200ËšC via a type J thermocouple.
Up to two measurements can be shown simultaneously on the Extech SDL500’s backlit digital screen. Data hold and min/max recording are both available. As a datalogging instrument, the thermohygrometer can store up to 99 readings manually or up to 20M readings on the supplied 2GB SD card. The user can set a sampling rate between 1s and 3,600s. The SD memory card can easily be transferred to a PC and readings are saved in an Excel ready format.
The Extech SDL500 comes supplied with accessories including batteries, an SD card, a carry case and a humidity/temperature probe. It is covered by a three-year warranty.
